The year’s biggest controversies have left social media and landed around your table. It’s time to debate them. Step into the shoes of a different character, and argue like your life depends on it. Pray for divine inspiration, bribe God to sway the verdict, and if He starts playing favorites, call Him out. In this game, every opinion is up for debate… even God’s.

Goal of the Game:

Be the first team to win five debates by convincing God with your arguments, clever plays, or a well-timed bribe.

1. Choose one player to be God. Give them the gavel and God’s Die, divide the remaining players into two teams, and give each team Help Tokens.
2. God rolls the die, draws a Controversy Card, and assigns one team to Attack and the other to Defend.
3.Teams have 1 minute to prepare. They may spend a Prayer Token to reveal argument hints or play a Bribe Token to automatically win the round.
4. The Attack team goes first, followed by the Defense team. Teams alternate speaking for 3 rounds, and God judges only the category selected by the die.
5. God chooses the winning team and awards them the Controversy Card. The losing team may challenge the ruling once to reveal whether a hidden token was used.
6. Repeat the process with a new Controversy Card until one team collects 5 Controversy Cards and wins the game.
